Physiotherapy website design for Fletcher Health and Performance Physiotherapy, a new practice launching in Ellesmere Port. James Fletcher is an HCPC and CSP registered physiotherapist and former Division 1 collegiate athlete who had just completed his Master's and was starting a practice from nothing — no website, no client base, no established local reputation.
We designed and built the practice's website on Wix, covering brand presentation, a full service breakdown across sports massage, physiotherapy assessment and follow-up care, integrated online booking, a blog for ongoing content, and clear contact routes for both in-clinic and home-visit clients.
The site had to do the job a new healthcare practice needs most: establish credibility instantly with people who have never heard of the practitioner, and make booking an appointment take seconds rather than a phone call.
A brand new physiotherapy practice starts with a specific problem — nobody knows you exist, and healthcare is a trust purchase. Prospective clients are choosing someone to treat an injury, often while in pain, and they need reassurance about qualifications and approach before they'll book. James had strong credentials but no digital presence at all to communicate them.
There was a second problem in the service model. The practice offers both clinic appointments in Ellesmere Port and home visits across the North West and North Wales — a genuine differentiator, but one that's easy to bury. The site needed to make both options obvious without complicating the booking path.
The practical constraint was admin. A solo practitioner treating clients all day cannot also field booking enquiries by phone and message. Appointments needed to be self-service, taken online, at any hour, without James being involved until the client walks through the door.
And underneath all of it: local visibility. In a competitive healthcare market, a new practice is invisible until it appears in local search results for physiotherapy and sports massage in the area.
We built a clean, professional Wix site designed to establish trust fast. James's credentials, background and photograph sit high on the page, because in healthcare the practitioner is the product — anonymous, stock-image-led clinic sites consistently underperform against ones with a real face and real qualifications on them.
Services are presented as three clearly distinct offerings — sports massage, physiotherapy assessment and follow-up care — each explained in plain language rather than clinical jargon, so a prospective client can self-identify which one they need without a consultation. Clinic and home-visit options are surfaced throughout rather than hidden in a single line of copy.
Booking runs through an integrated Vagaro system, so clients book and pay for their own appointments around the clock without any admin from James. Every call-to-action across the site routes into that single booking flow, so there's never a dead end between "I need this" and "I've booked it."
A blog section gives the practice a route to publish ongoing content — recovery advice, injury guidance, performance topics — which builds topical authority over time and gives the site a reason to be crawled regularly rather than sitting static.
The build is mobile-first throughout, with structured on-page SEO and local signals for Ellesmere Port and the wider North West, so the practice surfaces in the local searches that matter for a business whose customers are, almost by definition, nearby and looking now
